Besides running their busy Hotel & Restaurant, Janneke has been campaigning for years for animals in need in the state of Ceara. Her love for animals is huge and Janneke is known to do anything to help animals in need.

A long cherished dream of Janneke was to be able to offer the animals in need more than she was already doing. Through the establishment of the Fenix Foundation this dream finally come true.
